I dreamed I had an interview with God.
“So you would like to interview me?” God asked.
“If you have the time” I said.
God smiled. “My time is eternity.”
“What questions do you have in mind for me?”
“What surprises you most about humankind?”
God answered...
“That they get bored with childhood,
they rush to grow up, and then
long to be children again.”

“That by thinking anxiously about the future,

God’s hand took mine
and we were silent for a while.

“As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons
you want your children to learn?”
“To learn they cannot make anyone

“To learn to forgive
by practicing forgiveness.”

blah, saw this guy i haven't seen in almost 5 years today
he's gotten so...weird...very much "wanna-be-gangsta" like now and it kinda irks me
w/e, not like i'm going to see him for another 5 years ><
anywho, aca deca competition was yesterday and i faltered in mai prepared speech, made the worst impromptu speech in my life AND did a crap job on the essay writing...ah well, experience will help me next year if mr.burri stops being a butt and will let me be on teh team ^^
tomm is apush test and mai intros are ever so weak, must go work on it so ADIOS

blah, well...i haven't written in here for a while
probably because i made a vow not to BUT i'm bored, what can i say?
anywho, i gotta work on this layout thing and figure out what to do
with it since it's kind of...icky...
ANYWAY on another note
we're making poems in core so here are a few i made
that were REJECTED because they weren't about race AT ALL!!!
dang, i need to stay on topic...><
POEM ONE
I was always in between
The translator
The bridge
I couldn’t be subjective
I had to look at both sides
And try to explain to the world
What I had found
But I didn’t want to
Not anymore
They said “racism”
And expected passion
And passion they received.
But not from me.
I had to look at it from two sides
I had to be objective
They said to speak up
Explain yourselves!
But I couldn’t
I was looking at the issue
From the left and the right
From up and down
From inside and out
Such a touchy subject
Obviously from guilt
But was I a part of it?
Why was I silent?
Because I had to look at it from all sides
I had to be objective
BUT I couldn’t, could I?
Race, a touchy subject true but in order to heal, you must
hurt
POEM TWO!
I had
in my hand
a little
Blue
Bottle.
Nothing
could really
fit, but with a
little bit of pressure
HERE and THERE
I could jam in a number
of things, like my thoughts
and my dreams and my fears…
But the problem with my petite
little Blue Bottle was not that it
was little, was not that it was blue,
nor was it that it was a bottle. BUT
my dear little bottle, my sweet little
bottle, was made of a glass so fine,
so fragile that any word from another
directed at my bottle could crack it,
chip it, shatter it and even just break
it! I couldn’t let anyone else see my
little bottle, because my little bottle
was special, to me, special, I didn’t
want to share it, I didn’t want to
show it to you or them, but
there was guilt, how could
I say no? so here’s my
Little Blue Bottle,
Exposed.
hmmm...that didn't come out too well...when it's on microsoft word
it's in the shape of a bottle >< copy and paste it and fix it if you want
to see it in its original shape! :D

ookkk...don't know what to write except that i've broken the "i'm not going to blog anything till i can do better in school" but i have to ><
stupid math is bugging me...I HATE INTEGRALS AND THEIR DAMN ANIT-INTEGRAL PARTS! ::sigh::
OK blogging celibacy has to start again...besides, i need some time to figure out how to make a layout for this...randomly erasing things that i have no idea what they do is not the brightest of tactics o.O
